A dominant force at the University of Maryland, Bias became a two-time ACC Player of the Year with a rare combination of power, athleticism and scoring ability. In 1986, the Boston Celtics selected him with the No. 2 overall pick, setting the stage for what many believed would be a legendary NBA career.
